Project history: Former Austro-Hungarian. Bodrog 31.10.1918 ran ashore at Visnitsa, was interned and entered Yugoslavian Danube flotilla, Temes was interned some later. 15.4.1920 by results of division of Austro-Hungarian fleet she was officially transferred to Yugoslavia and renamed Sava. Drina (ex-Temes) was transferred to Romania.
Ship protection: Machinery had 40mm vertical and 25mm horizontal protection.
Modernizations: 1952, Sava: was armed with 2 x 1 - 105/45 SK C/32, 3 x 1 - 40/60 Mk 3, 6 x 1 - 20/70 Mk 7
Naval service: On the night of 12.4.1941 Sava was scuttled on Danube in Beograd. In 1941 she was salvaged by German wreckers, repaired and commissioned by Croatian Danube flotilia as Sava. She was sunk 9.9.1944 by Yugoslavian artillery on river Sava at Bosanski-Brod. Sava was salvaged, repaired after war and served till 1959-1962.
