Project history: Built in Germany by Lürssen under drawings of German MTB of S2 class in 1936-1938. Boats were equipped with Mersedes-Benz petrol engines; cruising 7kts speed was ensured by 100hp Maybach engine installed on central shaft. Boats had board numbers 1-8 respectively. Late 1938 Yugoslavian Navy ordered to Lürssen 4 more MTBs of Orjen class (conventional designations MT9-12). The order was cancelled after WWII beginning.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: 16.4.1941 Durmitor and Kajmakcalan escaped to Crete, and therefrom to Alexandria. After they were commissioned by new Yugoslavian Navy and renamed TC5 and TC6, later TC391 and TC392, are handed over on demolition in 1962-1963
Orjen, Velebit, Dinara, Triglav, Suvobor and Rudnik were captured in April, 1941 at Kotor and commissioned by Regia Marina as MAS3D-8D, 4.7.1942 they were renamed MS41-46.
