Project history: Former US Barnegat class seaplane tenders, transferred after service as USCG cutters.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Trần Quang Khải, Trần Bình Trọng, Lý Thường Kiệt, Ngô Quyền in April 1975 escaped to Philippines and later commissioned by Philippine Navy as Diego Silang, Francisco Dagohoy, Andrés Bonifacio and Gregorio del Pilar respectively. Trần Nhật Duật and Trần Quốc Toản also escpaed to Philippines but were cannibalized for the spare parts. Phạm Ngũ Lão was in April 1975 captured at Saigon by North Vietnamese Army and commissioned by Vietnam People's Navy under the same name.
