Project history: Western nickname derives from the probably erroneous belief that Yugoslavia provided some design and technical support input to this extremely primitive design. Intended for the insertion of saboteurs and other special forces personnel. The casing and sail are made of GRP. There are 10 watertight compartments to the pressure hull. Small arms and antitank rockets are carried for the saboteur swimmers, as is a rubber boat.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: No significant events.
