Project history: Authorized under the Act of 3.3.1897. Never made her designed 30kts speed, the trials figure being given as 25.33kts, which accounts for the delay in commissioning. Turtle deck forward, three equally spaced funnels and two single TT aft.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: Stricken from navy 26.11.1913, but not sold until 1923.
