Aircraft facilities: Aircraft fuel stowage was 1 101 500 l. There was 1 heavy crane for handling seaplanes.

Project history: Seaplane tenders in standard C3-S type cargo hulls. They were purchased by Navy already after launching and converted while outfitted afloat. The aviation deck for seaplane maintenance was arranged aft from superstructure and raised one level over a cargo deck. The crane for aircraft handling was placed on stern. Cargo holds were arranged for storage of various aviation equipment and an aviation fuel.
