Project history: Iron-hulled paddle gunboat. Symonds design of 1841. Intended for service on Lake Ontario, later on Lake Huron. Ship was laid down in Limehouse and delivered in pieces for shipment to Canada in November 1841.

Modernizations: 1846: lengthened (37.9m pp, 225bm)

Naval service: No significant events.
