Project history: The prototype Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) minesweeper/hunter, and the first of her kind in the world. To test the new nonmagnetic material against wooden construction a copy of the 'Ton' class was built in GRP and equipped with machinery and gear stripped from Derriton before the latter was broken up. She was a great success, having weathered two collisions without serious damage.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: In 1991 she was transferred to the Dartmouth Training Squadron.
