Project history:
Improved versions of the Yarrow 130-footers, with increased dimensions but
little else changed, and therefore more seaworthy craft.
Modernizations:
1904-1905, both: were reboilered with water-tube boilers
Naval service: Both survived their wartime patrolling to be broken up in 1919.
