Project history: In 1887 the India Office ordered seven boats which were to be slightly enlarged versions of the 125-footers. These appeal never to have been delivered to India, and in 1892 were taken over by the Royal Navy, though their numbering as TB100-106 did not take place until 1901. Deck TT can be replaced by 47mm gun.
Unlike the others these boats had water-tube boilers. Reboilered soon after
1900.
Modernizations: 1900s, all: were reboilered with water-tube boilers.
Naval service: No significant events.
