Project history: Former French 74-gun two-deckers of Le Téméraire class. Implacable, Mont Blanc and Scipion were taken in Strachan's action 4.11.1805, Abercrombie was taken off Puerto Rico 17.4.1809. Genoa was captured incomplete on the stocks at Genoa when city surrendered 18.4.1814 and launched and completed for the Royal Navy.
