Project history: Ordered 2009 and delivered beginning in 2011. Intended to replace the older Type 2000 TDX(M) hovercraft, transferred to Pakistan. Maximum payload capacity is 2.4 tons and obstacle clearance is 0.73 m. For use aboard larger amphibious ships; can be transported by C-130 aircraft.
