Project history: Transports for delivery LCM landing craft to landing place. There were LSS, LSG, LSD and LSC types. LSS were converted from train ferries. LCMs took places on three ways, centre way was completed by stern by raking descent to a water. Ships can carry up to 14 LCM(1) or 11 LCM(3) on short distances in good weather.

Naval service:  Daffodil was mined 18.3.1945.
