Project history: Lürssen 'FPB62' type. Specially adapted for conditions of the Gulf, being well armed and air-capable. Ships had helicopter deck able to carry Alouette III helicopter but no hangar.

2009, Das; 2010, Murayjib: diesels were replaced by 4 MTU 20V538 TB92 (15600hp, 34kts); - 2 x 4 MM40 Exocet Block II SSM; + 2 x 4 MM40 Exocet SSM (8 MM40 Block III), 2 x 1 - 12.7/90
