1900, both: were armed with 2 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss, 2 x 5 - 37/17 Hotchkiss
Naval service: Firat was badly damaged by gunfire of Greek gunboat Aphroessa in February 1897 and was under repair till 1899.
