Project history: Steel-hulled first class TBs fitted with two conning towers, one forward and one aft, and a bow and a stern rudder. There were two 356mm bow TT under the turtleback forecastle, and they carried the reload Schwarzkopf torpedoes. On trials they averaged 22.4kts.
