Project history: British destroyer Oribi of O class, transferred to Turkey after war instead of Gayret, lost under British flag as Ithuriel. She was rearmed before transfer (second TT bank was installed instead of 102mm/45 gun, 2 twin Oerlikons were replaced by single).
Modernizations: 1950s: - 1 x 4 - 533 TT, 1 x 4 - 40/39, 4 x 1 - 20/70; + 2 x 2 - 40/60 Mk 1
Naval service: No significant events.
