Project history: Wooden-hulled, ship-rigged sloops, these vessels were sheathed and coppered and featured raked masts and one funnel between the fore- and mainmasts.

Modernizations: 1885, all survived: were armed with 2 x 1 - 149/22 RK L/25 C/75, 2 x 1 - 120/22 RK L/22 C/78, 3 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss, 2 x 1 - 25/42 Nordenfelt

1889, Sinop: was armed only with 3 x 1 - 50/22 SK L/25, 3 x 1 - 37/20 Hotchkiss

Naval service: No significant events.
