Project history: Cruiser of the out-of-date British design, built by Turkish order as Drama, but after beginning of Italian-Turkish war of 1911 she was requisitioned, and commissioned as "4th class battleship" Libia. On the elements construction was close to cruisers Hamidiye and Mejidiye.

Ship protection: Main protection consisted of deck with 100mm slopes.
