Project history: Very similar to the slightly smaller Asar-i Şevket class except that she had a raised forecastle. She had one 178mm Armstrong ML in the barbette and two in the battery, with the two 229mm 12.5t Armstrong MLs.
Ship protection: The complete bell was 152mm thick above and 114mm thick below lwl, and it extended from 2.0m above to 1.8m below lwl.

Naval service: She was hulked in about 1897 and was used first for training and then as an accommodation ship during World War I. She was scrapped after the war.
