Project history: General purpose frigate, highly automated and proved successful in service. Fitted as flagship.

1993: - 1 x 4 Sea Cat SAM, M44 radar; + 2 x 1 - 40/60 Mk 3

Naval service: Makut Rajakumarn was badly damaged by fire in February 1984 and was later repaired and modernized till 1988.
