Project history: Former USN LCT(6) type tank landing craft.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: He Deng was converted to auxiliary SB2 and later sank after collision in Makung Harbour during a typhoon 22.8.1986. He Zhen ran aground and was lost 13.2.1970.
