Project history: Former USN PCE type patrols, transferred to China and escaped to Taiwan.
Modernizations: 1955, both: - 1 x 24 - 178 Hedgehog ASWRL, 4 DCT, 2 DCR, sonar; + 1 x 1 - 76/50 Mk 22
Naval service: Shan Tai was damaged in action with Chinese escorts off the South China coast 14.11.1965 and was deleted soon after.
