Project history: Former Japanese destroyer of Kagero class, transferred by reparations to China and escaped to Taiwan in 1949. After being disarmed, from 1945-1951, she was given an extensive refit in 1951-1952 and received armament as given above.
Modernizations: 1959: new armament consisted of 3 x 1 - 127/38 Mk 30, 2 x 1 - 76/50 Mk 26, 8 x 1 - 40/60 Mk 3, 4 DCT, SC-2 radar
Naval service: No significant events.
