Project history: Destroyers of Wrangel class have finished a line of development of Swedish 30kts destroyers, originating from Wale. Unlike the ships of the previous series, they have received the forecastle which notably has raised seaworthiness, and their steam turbines were geared for the first time in the Swedish navy. Armament repeated predecessors, only two additional single torpedo tubes were installed under a forecastle, shooting through ports in side plating, covered by folding boards.

It was planed to built a series of four ships, but the order of the second pair of obsolete destroyers have refused.

Modernizations: 1927, both: boilers were converted to oil-firing (105t of oil)

1940, both: - 2 x 1 - 450 TT; + 1 x 1 - 25/55 K/58 M32, 1 x 2 - 8.76, 2 DCR, displacement was 498/570t.

Naval service: No significant events.
