Project history: Norwegian-built whalers. Styrbjörn and Starkodder were fitted for minelaying, other ships belonged to Coastal Artillery. All had similar data: 300 - 440t standard displacement, 30.0-37.0 x 4.00 - 7.00 x 4.20 x 4.30m, 1 VTE, 700 - 800hp, 10kts, 1 x 1 - 37/37 or 1 x 1 - 57/50, 1 MG.

Modernizations: none.

Naval service: no significant events.
