Project history: River purpose-built gunboat for fisheries protection, intended for service on rivers on Portuguese board, first of all in Galicia. She was built as replacement for gunboat Perla, served 40 years.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: 26.7.1936 Cabo Fradera was captured by Nationalists and commissioned by them as patrol.
