Naval service: Cabo Santo Tomé was sunk by Nationalists gunboats Dato and Cánovas del Castillo at Cape Rosas. Cabo San Augustin was captured by USSR at Feodosiya at the end of Civil war and commissioned by Black Sea Fleet as TS Dnepr. Juan Sebastián Elcano was captured by USSR at Odessa and commissioned by Black Sea Fleet as submarine depot ship Volga.
