Project history: Former British submarine L55, attacked by Russian destroyers Azard and Gavriil, mined when dived and sunk 4.6.1919. She was salvaged in 1928, repaired and commissioned by Red Fleet.

Modernizations: 1934: Vickers diesels were replaced by 42BM6 (2200hp).

Naval service: No significant events.
