Project history: Former Latvian Imanta and Viesturs. Purpose-built minesweepers-minelayers designed on the basis of a tug hull. Since joining of Latvia into the USSR 19.8.1940 they were commissioned by Baltic Fleet.

Modernizations: 1944, No51: - 1 x 1 - 75/35; + 1 x 1 - 76/52 34K, 1 x 1 - 45/43 21K, 3 x 1 - 12.7/79

Naval service: T-299 was lost 1.7.1941 on German mine W off Saaremaa Island (Northern Baltic).
