Project history: First-ever rigorous purpose-built minesweepers.

Modernizations: 1932, Zapal: - 1 x 1 - 57/50; + 1 x 1 - 76/28 8K, 1 x 1 - 45/43 21K, 1 x 1 - 7.6/94, mine capacity decreased to 32. Displacement was 150 / 205t, draught was 2.5m, speed 11.5kts at 300hp, complement 37.

Naval service: Three ships were lost on mines (Provodnik 27.8.1914, Vzryv 28.5.1916 on own mine, Fugas 5.12.1916). Minrep in April, 1918 was captured by Finnish troops. Zapal served in the Soviet Navy, in days of Great Patriotic War she was under repair and has been handed over on demolition only in 1964.
