Project history: Former British turbine-driven experimental boat Carolina. 3.6.1905 she was bought by Russian Government. Originally she was rated as armed steamship, in September, 1907 re-rated as training ship and in August, 1914 as dispatch vessel.

Modernizations: 1914: - 1 x 1 - 47/40, 3 x 1 - 381 TT; + 1 x 1 - 75/48 Canet

1920: - 1 x 1 - 75/48; + 1 x 1 - 47/40 Hotchkiss, 3 x 1 - 381 TT

Naval service: No significant events.
