Project history: Project of Schichau under Russian requirements. Rated as torpedo boats, since September, 1907 as destroyers.
Modernizations: 1912, all survived: - 5 x 1 - 47/40, 3 x 1 - 381 TT; + 1 x 1 - 75/48 Canet, 6 x 1 - 7.6/94, 3 x 1 - 450 TT
Naval service: Bditelnyy was scuttled by own crew 2.1.1905 in Port Arthur harbour to avoid capture by Japanese. Besposhchadny was captured by Japanese 30.6.1918 at Vladivostok, later she was destroyed by Whites in 1922 and never repaired. Besshumny and Besstrashny were captured by British troops at Arkhangelsk in March, 1918 but re-captured by Red Army 21.2.1920 and commissioned by Red Navy.
