Naval service: No221 has sunk during a storm in Mediterranean sea 25.2.1904. In days of WWI boats were used as minesweepers and dispatch vessels. 18.7.1915 No218 was mined in Gulf of Bothnia, but remained afloat and in 3 months returned to service. All survived boats were captured by Finnish troops 13.4.1918 at Helsingfors. Later they as obsolete were transferred by Soviet Government to Finland and broken up.
