Project history: Merchant vessels converted to air sentry ships and served mostly on Volga and Caspian Sea.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: VN-14 was commissioned first time as dispatch vessel Geok-Tepe in 1911, captured by Whites 31.7.1918, re-captured by Reds in April 1920 and commissioned again as dispatch vessel in 1922, she was classified as minelayer in 1923 - 1925.
