Project history: First-ever armoured motor gunboats. Intended for Amur flotilla. Deck house, sides and deck were protected by bulletproof 7.9mm nickel-steel armour. Armament consisted from mod. 1904 76mm mountain gun.
Ship protection: Bullet-proof protection.
Modernizations: 1916, Kinzhal, Palash, Pistolet, Pulya, Rapira, Sablya, Shashka, Shtyk: - 1 x 1 - 76/16; + 1 x 1 - 47/43 Hotchkiss
Naval service: Boats served on Baltic were abandoned by spring 1918 in Finland in damaged condition, fate of Black Sea boats is unknown. Far-Eastern boats were in 1918 captured by Japanese, but in 1920-1925 returned and repaired.
