Project history: Former American aircraft rescue launches of PTC type, transferred on lend-lease. Originally they were classified as small submarine chasers, but in absence of sonars appeared ineffective and 4.9.1944 re-classified as patrol launches. Crafts named as "POK" were re-rated as dispatch boats.
