Project history: Armoured small submarine chasers. They were designed and built in beleaguered Leningrad that has predetermined a number of prominent features: in particular rectilinear hull form. Steel-hulled, vital parts (engine room, tanks, deck house) were protected by armour. Boats were equipped with two main motors and one cruising motor.
Ship protection: Armour protected CT, machinery and fuel tanks.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: No significant events.
