Project history: Vorovskiy was
built as yacht Lysistrata for American private owner.
Designed speed was 17.5kts, on trials ship reached 18.93kts. In 1916
she was bought by Russian Government as dispatch vessel for
Northern Flotilla, armed and renamed Yaroslavna.
In 1920 she was repaired, re-armed and re-rated as
Border Guard ship, renamed Vorovskiy and commissioned by Border
Guard on Northern Ocean; in 1924 ship passed to the Far East. By the time of
WWII she made no more than 10-12kts.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Vorovskiy 23.9.1952 ran aground in the Avacha Bay, raised and towed off on repair to Vladivostok, but never repaired and subsequently broken up.
