Project history: 30.11.1943 Romanians owing to surrendering of Italy requisitioned at Constanza five Italian midget submarines CB1-4 and 6.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: All were enlisted by Romanian Navy but 30.1.1944 transferred to Italian Social Republic (RSI), continuing to be based at Constanza with new Italian crews. CB6 was completely destroyed during raid of Soviet aircraft 20.8.1944. All submarines were captured by Soviet troops 30.8.1944.
