Project history: Former Austro-Hungarian torpedo boats, transferred Romania on reparations in 1920.

Modernizations: 1939, Năluca, Smeul: - 1 x 1 - 75/27, 1 x 1 - 8.3/66; + 1 x 1 - 37/80 SK C/30, 1 x 1 - 20/65 C/38, 4 DCT, 2 DCR

1943-1944, Năluca, Smeul: - 2 x 2 - 450 TT

Naval service: Fulgerul (ex-84F) was wrecked in Bosporus 8.2.1922 en route to Romania.
Năluca in 1944 was converted to auxiliary and 20.8.1944 sunk by Soviet by aircraft at Constanza. Smeul 5.9.1944 was captured by Soviet troops at Constanza, 14.9.1944 commissioned by Soviet Navy as guard ship Toros and 12.10.1945 returned to Romania.
