Project history: Former British MTBs bought by Romania in January, 1940. They were transferred under Romanian flag 16.2.1940, had hull numbers 1-3 respectively. In April-May, 1940 they passed from Portsmouth by French internal waterways to Marseilles where have been loaded onboard of s/s Peles, which arrived in May in 1940 to Galatz. Wooden-hulled.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Viscolul was returned by USSR in September 1945 but never commissioned due to bad condition.
