Project history: British Admiralty trawlers of Isles, Dance and Tree classes, chartered by Portugal in October, 1943 (first 6), used as patrols, escorts and minesweepers.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service:  In July, 1945 all 6 trawlers were returned to UK, but in 1946 four ships were redeemed by Portugueses and commissioned again under new names instead of number designations.
