Project history: Belonged to a numerous series of Austro-Hungarian seaworthy torpedo boats of 250-ton type built in days of the First World War. After war end 6 ships were transferred to Portugal. Rather successful ships for their time.
Modernizations: None.
Naval service: Zêzere and Cávado were wrecked at Cape Bon 29.12.1921 en route to Portugal. Ave and Sado were in the worn out condition in 1930s and were stricken in 1940.
