Project history: Four-funneled low-board torpedo cruiser with 65mm gun fwd and 100mm gun aft. Tejo was wrecked in 1910 but was salvaged and rebuilt under new design in 1917.

Modernizations: 1917: boilers were replaced by White-Forster, funnels number was decreased to two; new armament consisted of 1 x 1 - 100/44 A(tr)10/45, 1 x 1 - 76/40 A(tr)76/40, 2 x 1 - 47/40 H(tr)47/40, 2 x 1 - 356 TT

Naval service: Tejo was wrecked in 1910 but was salvaged and rebuilt under new design. She was commissioned secondary in 1917 and served as a destroyer till 1929.
