Project history: Specially built for export Soviet Project 877E, lead ship. Formally submarine was at first commissioned by Soviet Navy and later transferred to the Poland. Planned three additional submarines were never transferred due to financial problem, two project 641 submarines were transferred instead.

Naval service: No significant events.
