Seven ships were planned but only one was laid down due to financial problems and planned for completion as patrol ship with reduced armament. Previously planned 8-cell VLS for 8 ESSM or 8 MICA-VL SAM, 1 21-round RAM SAM, 2x Bofors ASW-610 and 2 triple 324mm TTs will not be installed also due to budget cuts. Building of other ships was suspended 24.2.2012 and cancelled next year.

Modernizations: None.

Naval service: No significant events.
