Project history: British destroyer Myrmidon of M class, transferred to Polish Navy 18.11.1942 and commissioned in the following month as Orkan.
Modernizations: Autumn 1942: - 2 x 4 - 12.7/62; + 2 x 1 - 20/70 Oerlikon Mk II/IV
late 1942: - 2 x 2 - 12.7/62; + 2 x 1 - 20/70 Oerlikon Mk II/IV
Naval service: 8.10.1943 at escorting of SC-143 convoy Orkan was sunk in Northern Atlantic by German submarine U378.
