Project history: Units differ considerably from the standard Lupo design. They have two masts, a standard, not a telescopic hangar, 40mm guns installed a deck higher and hand-powered reloading system for the Albatros SAM.

Modernizations: 1997, all: + 2 x 4 MGP-86 SAM (8 9M39 Igla)

1997-1998, Carvajal, Mariategui: helicopter deck was extended to the stern; - 1 helicopter (AB-212); + 1 helicopter (ASH-3D Sea King)
