Project history: French/Netherlands/Belgian 'Tripartite' design. Munsif was transferred from the French Navy, Muhafiz was reordered by Pakistani Navy before the keel was laid down, third ship was ordered by Pakistan from beginning.

Modernizations: 2010s, Munsif: - AP-4 acoustic minesweeping  gear; + MRK-960 magnetic, MKR-400 acoustic minesweeping gear, EVEC20 CCS

Naval service: No significant events.
